Blank Tape Spillage Fete 2009

Word reaches me from London of the Blank Tape Spillage Fete 2009.

I played at the last one in 2006, making a godawful racket on my vintage laptop. You can see a video excerpt of my performance on YouTube that sounds like a beached whale being wrapped up in fairy lights, and if you like, you can download mp3s of the tape that I submitted - a whole C45's worth of drones, clicks, guitar fuzz and shouting. Here's side A, and here's side B

Alas, I'm not playing this year, but if you're at a loose end any time between April 8th and 11th, you could do a lot worse than to get down to Cecil Sharp House and check out the talent on display.

Top tip - pop out into the garden and pluck an apple off their trees :-)
