Debs and I are both looking for work at the moment. Debs is a Technical Author, so she's browsing a bunch of fairly boring ads looking for people to write help files, installation manuals, etc. Not a lot of interest, then up pops a company looking for a Documentalist.
Immediately, we snap into full Alan Partridge reference mode:
Yes yes, there is a proper, dictionary sense of the word "mentalist" but it's far too dreary to stand up to Partridge's energetic misappropriation.
Until further notice, Debs is now officially a Documentalist. Perfect!
